Sensors – block occupancy

In accessories submenu you can add sensors. These sensors can be used in dispatcher game to show block occupancy, and they can be also used to run dependency commands.

As with other menus, we have the option to search the list of sensors, and by dragging an item to the left we can delete or modify it.

To add a new sensor fill in the name and set the physical address.

The sensor (block) address must be calculated as follows:

(sensor module address * number of sensor module outputs) + given output number

So, if you have, for example, 8 output modules, then if you want to set output 6 of the first module, the address in DTPro must be set to 14:
1 * 8 + 6 = 14
If it doesn’t work that way, it might be worth trying address +-8, so let’s try 6 or 22, to see if the module addressing somehow works differently on the given system.

If you have, for example, 16 output modules, then if you want to set output 3 of the second module, the address in DTPro must be set to 35:
2 * 16 + 3 = 35

You cannot use sensors with DigiWifi.
