Locomotive library

The startup page of the application is the Locomotive library. Here you can add your locomotives that you want to control from the program.

Press Add new locomotive button to add new item to your list. Enter a name and the loco decoder address (Decoders default address is 3 unless modified). After clicking save button you take a photo of your locomotive or select one from the gallery.

If you already have more than one train in the list, you can filter it using the search box above the list. The application will search the phrase in the train name, address, and other data. So you can filter a larger list to conveniently locate the locomotive you want to control. Here I search for locomotives which name contains 480.

On the right of the search bar there is a button to open the submenu of locomotive library. There you can sort the list by name or address. Furthermore you can filter the list to show only the moving locomotives or the short-list.

You can also sort the list by drag and drop the right edge of the items where the small left arrow is shown. If you swipe left any locomotives in the list, you will see three icons:

  • Trash: delete locomotive
  • Right up arrow: drive the locomotive
  • Checkbox: if it is enabled, then locomotive is on Short-list. Short-list can be opened from locomotive library submenu

You can see a video here how to use the Short-list function.

You can see a video here how to show the moving locomotives.
